Adam said I'm pretty~

SATURDAY !! You know what does it means?
well~ based on my past experience,Saturday consider as 'kelam kabut day',
Meaning, lots of unpredictable thing will gonna happen on that day.
I'm having saturday trauma soon, haha~

10:30am , I've supposedly start the korean class on time, but something happened thus we can't start on time. After korean class, it's Adam's class. Adam, a very special people for me. Haha, the first time we met, is in a very complicated situation. well~ when something happened, I used to talk to myself, actually self-talk can reduce stress and boost confidence as well. Out of topic @@

Thus, I decided to teach Adam vocabulary, 10 mandarin vocabulary. I have no idea what to do with him since that he is not willing to talk nor cooperate with us. But it's okayy~  I have lots of patience. In that 1 hour plus, I work so hard to gain his attention perhaps passion to learn mandarin ( no easy lar to gain his attention.) Teaching really required great patience. I don't scold or give up anybody, I'll keep on do what should I do, hoping he will cooperate with me as well.

time flies~~ class dismiss \(^o^)/~ both of us also very hungry and exhausted. After school, Adam's father and me having a discussion, seeking a way to help him learn in a more effective way.
After the discussion, they're leaving. At that moment, Adam turns to me, and whisper ' laoshi (teacher), piao liang (pretty)'.  /(ㄒoㄒ)/~~ my heart melts~ ❤

Awww~ so sweet ❤okayyy, that's the main point, haha. Adam say I'm pretty~ hehe .. happy~
Even though it's tiring, but still so sweet . A sweet saturday \(^o^)/~

Everyday is a happy day(+love)

We are SUPPLI team

I really love the words KIZUNA,which means bond in Japanese.I strongly feel bond between SUPPLI team whereas we will stay together and fight for same dream and same goal forever no matter what happened.

As all of you see,SUPPLI team consisted of Ellie(me),Peggy and Sasa as well as our new rookies,Jammy.

Well,as the words of SUPPLI.We are not here only for to be your SUPPLI-ment of you language, communication but also for your happiness with our passion and energy.

Lately, some discouraging happening occurred which I think it really a test on our bond.Anyhow, the word called KIZUNA is not something can be trash. We works as one because we are partner in various side of life.No one is perfect because we are perfect when we are together. <3

Stolen.

When i first reached Suppli today, first thing i noticed was "eiiiii, the door is not lock???" While puzzled i walked into center and saw a mess in receptionist area. And i realized my laptop and 2 office mobile phone went missing.

Now... it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out what had happened already. To be honest, i am pretty much upset, not at the robber/thief because at least he/she did not create messes in classroom for me to clean up. I am pretty thankful for that. Upset because it was my laptop, and it was with me for more than 3 years. I hardly have any gadgets that stick with me this long, and now it is gone. I felt like crying.

My students arrived right after i discovered the criminal scene, and i have to suck my tears and emotions back and play my role as a good teacher. As much bad feelings inside as i was feeling, i wanted to have fun with my students and learn together with them. And i was able to smile again. My student, Iman, 11 year old, asked me, "teacher why are you smiling when you have lost something precious?", then i told him because "what is lost is lost and no matter what i do it wont come back".

Another student of mine Amilia, 12 year old, she asked me "teacher, are you upset?" "a little bit" "aww, teacher don't be upset k' and she smiled at me. I suddenly feel the urge of crying getting stronger, and i had to stop myself from that.

In conclusion, i have one of the low mood today but at the end i guess it could still be counted as a good day.

Nicholas and me

Did you ever think about how to communicate with a child who has a little bit hyperactive?

He broke my mind briefing when I first time stepped into the classroom and said "hi" with him.

He was just simply ignored me and continued walking around the classroom, at that moment, I was thinking "Is it my voice too low? ", and so the second time, I said "hi" again louder.

I’m pretty sure that my voice wasn’t that low, but I was appreciated to Peggy cause she helped me to break the air by introducing us each other.

The 8-year-old child, Nicholas, who is my Japanese Children Class student. He was so shy when I look into his eyes and has a charming laughing when we were enjoying games. He likes to run around the classroom, grab everything he was curious with.

I like to play flash cards with him to recognized hiragana, this was such an effective way to guide him memorized every single words. He was clever and cute, and his handwriting was extremely beautiful.

For kid, everyone likes doll, I guess, even adult. But I can confirmed that the little Nicholas love doll very much. Once he was waiting his cousin to bring him home, then what an adorable things had happened! He put the big cow doll on his shoulder and walk around. And so, Ellie gave him a nickname “xiao niu”.

Sometime, he will behave emotionally, I know that he need more caring and patient. Every time when I touch on his head, I can feel that he very enjoy and love it.

Now, I’m realized that something happened between little Nicholas and me. We need each other and I’m always looking forward to his class. “Let’s we learn together about getting along with each other!” I’m telling in my heart all the time.

when everybody say NO

↗3.12.2013 Tuesday ↖
↗ 2013 gonna end soon ↖

Annyeonghaseyo~ Sasa here! 2013 gonna end soon, what's your plan for 2014?
Grab every single moment, fully utilize you time Dear ❤

hmmm, today I feel like wanna write something on Suppli Blog before I go to class ( I'm still a student at TAR UC right now). I'm that kind of person which always follow my heart instead of rational thinking, many people say I'm weird but that's me! what can I do?

Anyway, what I wanna share to you guys is 'ENTHUSIASM' 。
'Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm' It helps us , gave us courage to face all the tough thing in our life. It is the inner voice that whispers, ' I can! ' when others shout ' No, you can't !'

One year ago, I fell in love with Korean language, I tell my parents I wanna study Korean Language but they give me a big NO. well, I'm quite frustrated that time, my parents are not supportive at all, whatever I wanna do, I tell them my ambition, blablabla .. NO, NO, NO, parents, friends laugh at me, relative, even though teacher, NO,you can't! The word NO is the most frequent word I heard from them. Haha, I already used to it. I realize that whatever I said, they won't support. So, I decided to follow my heart I choose to ignore the word 'NO'. I work hard to earn money, pay class fee. When others are sleeping, I'm study alone in my room. when others are shopping, dating, I'm memorizing all those Korean vocab.

My ex-boyfriend bought me books as birthday present, really appreciate it so much! I love book \(^o^)/~
Yup, I'm just a small little girl, what can I do? No certificate, No financial support, No experience. So what? I'm just want to do what I love to do! When everybody say NO, I'll say YES!

Thus, nobody can stop you, the only one who stops you, is you YOURSELF!
Wake up your life, 2014 is coming soon ~ \(^o^)/~

Worth-IT

Teaching hasn't been the easiest job on the earth, in fact it might be toughest.
Having knowledge is one thing, imparting what you have in mind in most understand-able way that doesn't bore people out of their mind is another thing altogether.

For the past few days, all we are doing is submit teaching plan, discuss teaching plan, improve teaching method, improve teaching plan, re-modifying, and re-re-re.
Imagine your proposal being rejected and re-do again and again. That is call frustrations.
But it is through this kind of process we learn together, communicate better as a team, and becoming better teaching planners and even teachers.

So, teaching plan>discussion>improvement>re-plan, and continue and etc...

While we are in the process of shredding off our caterpillar skin and turning into beautiful butterfly, let me admire this photo of happy kids and smile through the process of learning to do better plannings :)!

FIGHTING!
